Tempered steel and precise machining make for crisp crimp lines and a beautiful and effective factory finish for your star-crimped loads. Combine with a BN-series Crimp Finisher
The "Incisione" (engraving) is the first stage of the GAEP crimping process, which creates your deep crease lines.
The additional tapering step produces a smooth, professional finish to your cartridge. The BN series crimp finishers (sold separately) are even specialized for crimps of differing powder burn rates:

* IMPORTANT NOTE ON RPM
GAEP crimp heads are optimized for operation at 1100 RPM, which is the standard speed for their motors. Many hand drills and some drill presses do not reach this rotational speed. If you experience crimping issues with GAEP products, the first step is to verify that you are operating at the correct speed.
